Caching plugins are supposed to make sites faster. For one WooCommerce client, activating a popular premium caching plugin turned every page, front end and admin, into a blank white screen.
On shared hosting with a heavy theme and a large plugin stack, conflicts like this happen. The priority was getting the store trading again, so I removed the plugin completely, brought the site back online, and set up a lighter caching plugin that suits the hosting environment.
My view is that there’s no single “best” caching plugin. The right one depends on your server, your theme and what else is running. A premium price tag doesn’t guarantee it will suit your setup, and changes like this should always be tried on staging first where possible.
